by the books and continue to work on it for weeks after installation.

● All the rocks and debris should be removed from the area. Then it should be raked flat.
● Peat moss or soil rich in nutrients should be added to the area.
● Now, the soil should be turned about 6-8 inches with the help of a rototiller. The area

area.
● A smooth surface should be created by raking and compacting the soil. This can be

How To Maintain The Sod?
● The sod should be watered heavily for the first two days. Water should be visible but
don’t have standing water. This should be followed thrice a day.
● Water thoroughly for the next 10-12 days without flooding
● Slowly reduce the water every day. Do this for a week.
● 21 days after the installation, one can determine the amount of water the sod requires.
Then, the watering schedule should be matched to the need.
● Then, the lawn should be fertilized after 4-6 weeks of installation
